spooky pics and bald chics!

Today has been a strange day. It seems like everything is moving in slow motion.

I took some more pics of the moon through my window just a few minutes ago and I wanted to share them with you guys. I think the bottom one turned out really good. A lil blurry, but still good.

I ordered the 30 day supply of Proactiv and got it yesterday. I love the way it makes my face feel. My Aunt Janice got her some too. She's been using it for almost a week and said she could tell a big difference in her skin already. Hope it works that well for me.

My cancer treatments made me go into early menopause and because I'm considered high risk I can't take any hormone treatments. That means I just suffer and deal with whatever menopause throws at me. Up until a year or so ago I was getting used to the hot flashes, the mood swings, the depression, but then my hair started falling out. It looks just like male pattern baldness. I've asked all my Dr's to do something, anything, and they all say the same thing. The risk is too high and my hair will probably never grow back. This kills me!!

It's so bad I won't leave the house without a hat and I've been thinking about getting a wig. UGH! I hate wearing a wig! I've been to so many wig web sites and I can't find anything I like or that looks real. I can't even find something that looks like the hair I had. Then, I'm also afraid that if I do order one, I won't like it or I'll be too insecure to wear it.

Sheesh God, what did I do to deserve being boobless and hairless?

I work with a lady who has thinning hair and she wears the prettiest wigs. She will be back to work on Thurs and i will get the name of her wig catalogs. She shows me the catalogs and they have gorgeous wigs at good prices. I think you are a truly beautiful lady no matter what physical things you have had happen to you. I mean that. I love the pics you took too.

LAH LAH! THAT LAST PHOTO IS FANTASTIC! WOW! I AM WITH CARLENE, YOU COULD SELL THAT AND THE OTHERS AS WELL. GOOD JOB. IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF A BOOK. I LOVE THAT!
HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT CONTACTING LOCKS FOR LOVE TO SEE IF THEY CAN DIRECT YOU TO A GOOD PLACE TO GET A WIG? YOU WILL PROBABLY FEEL INSECURE WHEN YOU FIRST START WEARING WIGS, BUT, AFTER A LIL WHILE, YOU WONT EVEN REMEMBER YOU HAVE IT ON. I CAN UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM THOUGH. I WOULD FLIP OUT TOO IF I STARTED LOSING MY HAIR. THE THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER IS THAT YOUR HAIR DOESNT MAKE YA. YOU ARE THE SWEET LOVING AND CARING PERSON THAT WE ALL KNOW YOU TO BE, WITH, OR WITHOUT YOUR HAIR.
I DONT KNOW IF THIS WILL HELP YOU OR NOT, AND I DONT KNOW HOW "YOUTHFUL" THE WIGS ARE, BUT, HAVE YOU TRIED TO SEE IF "ZSA ZSA GABOR WIGS HAS A WEBSITE? ALSO, WHAT ABOUT THOSE PLACES WHERE YOU CAN PURCHASE HAIR EXTENSIONS, SUCH AS THE CHINESE SHOPS, AT LEAST AS A PLACE TO START LOOKING? HOPE THIS HELPS SWEETPEA. I HATE THAT YOU HAVE TO FEEL THE WAY YOU DO. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS.
((((((((((LAH LAH))))))))))...
I LOVE YOU MY FRIEND, YOU ARE PRECIOUS AND DONT FORGET THAT.

I love those pics you took as well, especially the bottom one! Im sorry you feel so bad about yourself, I would love to say something that would make you feel better, but I don't think it will change how you are feeling now...aw....Joan Collins wears wigs and always look amazing! My hair fell out when I was taking hrt and although I felt better on it the doc wouldn't give me any more! lol but maybe it wouldn't help your hair...what about those adverts for thinning hair, I don't know if they would work. we all luv ya if that's something!! You photos are wonderful.  You really are making good use of that new camera.
Sorry about your hair situation but I do hope you know that you are loved with or without hair.  Hair will not define who you are.

What about something like Rogaine?  Have you tried that?

I liked Demandnlilchit's wig.  It really looked good on her and to me, looked natural.  I think you might be better off going to a wig shop where you can try different styles on and see how they look.

I've had those slow-motion days.  Weird aren't they?

THOSE ARE AWESOME PICTURES!!
I KNOW THIS PERSON WHOSE HAIR WAS FALLING OUT AND IT WAS SHOWING QUITE A BIT AND THEY READ SOMEWHERE TO WASH THEIR HAIR WITH THE GREEN IRISH SPRING BAR SOAP. THAT PERSON SWEARS BY IT AND YOU REALLY CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE. JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE THAT WITH YOU BUT I'M NOT GONNA GUARENTEE THAT IT WORKS FOR EVERYBODY BUT IT SURE DID FOR THEM. I GUESS IT WOULDN'T HURT TO TRY BUT SEEMS LIKE IT MIGHT WOULD DRY YOUR HAIR OUT A BIT. IT'S YOUR CALL?????????
LOVE YA!

I am sorry. I could be bald but boobless would be a whole different ball game. I, wonder sometimes what it would be like. I had this breast reduction years ago and have horrible scars from it. I have always regretted what I call the unveiling that I need to do with the men I date. It sure is vulnerability on alert and yet, it can not compare to what you've known. I havent even shed a tear like the ones you have on this. Its like humility and awe.

I cant beleive that you can do nothing to repair your hair. hmm, I would consider a hair weave. I remember watching this lady who went through cancer and she created some breathable net for the wigs because she said when you wear them all day, you begin to sweat and with her invention that doesnt happen.  The women in my family are from the south. They have worn wigs their whole life. Its a fashion statement to do this for some. I would get fitted for one. I wouldnt order them online because the fit has to be right, hair color and style. Men really dont care about this. They dont. Women in the south wear wigs all day long.  And the personal sharing chuckle of the day, is my gray pubes. Now those were far more of an awakening than my gray hair early in life. When I get gray eye brows, I will be beside myself, lol. ~Raven
